Skill Set:
• Minimum of seven plus years business development and/or sales experience
• Established sales track record of developing qualified leads that consistently surpassing assigned sales quota
• Experience selling Technical Professional Services is required
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, and the ability to articulate corporate competitive advantage
• Must be experienced conversing with, and selling to, clients with varying levels of management and organization structures
• Ability to use a strategic, solution-oriented approach to create interest in our unique value proposition with senior level executives
• Ability to convey client interests, needs, and concerns to internal staff
• Successful at distilling technical features into compelling business benefits
• Proven leadership experience and demonstrated abilities in negotiations, and partner relationship management
• Independent, self-motivated and success driven, yet able and willing to take direction
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High energy, ability to self motivate and motivate others
Typical work activities will usually include some or all of the following:
• Prepare and execute a strategic business development plan
• Execute business to business proactive outreach to key contacts in targeted accounts within identified markets to generate awareness and interest in our services
• Ability to self generate leads either from direct calling, networking, public outreach, speaking engagements, or other direct marketing efforts
• Provide a clear, compelling and articulate explanation of our business value to prospective customers
• Probe for business pain and pre-qualify need, available funding, and decision authority
• Responsible for reviewing and analyzing information and developing new initiatives and partnerships
• Learn key technologies, services, and values that clients seek from Ampliflex solutions
• Convey solutions to clients based on needs that are common to their vertical area of business
• Build strong standing relationships in client accounts; foster customer growth
• Identify, establish, grow and maintain potential business partners; negotiate and manage strategic relationships with partners
• Negotiate proposal timelines and budgets
• Create concise and compelling proposals based on needs gained and solution identified during business development process
• Provide regular written reports to management on progress in acquiring new business, current active pipeline, obtainment to quota, and daily call logs
• Prepare and deliver presentations both externally and internally
• Work with internal teams to craft marketing collateral and host events
• Some travel may be required
